kHTTP is a small HTTP server and programmer's API for the J2ME platform. As kHTTP is compliant with Enhydra's Locumi HTTP Server Proxy, J2ME-MIDP devices can now be HTTP servers, even if the device is on a private network or behind a firewall.

July 24, 2001

kHTTP version 0.1 released. The version of kHTTP that was demonstrated at JavaOne 2001 has been released. John Beatty of Walking Networks demonstrated a J2ME-MIDP simulator running web services on a kHTTP/kXML/kSOAP-based server being proxied by Enhydra Locumi.
